The sport of Padel tennis was invented in Acapulco, Mexico by Enrique Corcuera in 1969. Pádel is a team sport for players of all ages (young and old) and skills. It is quick and easy to learn, and is less physically demanding than a sport such as squash.

Although most popular in Argentina, Spain, Mexico and some other Latin American countries it is now beginning to spread rapidly across Europe. Unlike tennis Pádel is not as dominated by strength and serve - the serve in Pádel is under-arm.
